March 1997 - The band is offered a deal with Siegen Records
to release the debut album and acquires Alchemy Management to
handle the PR.
November 1997 - The bands website is chosen by Timecast Media
Guide as one of the best Real Media sites on the internet.
August 1998 - The band however is featured on the Powermad
1998 Compilation CD (disc three).
September 1998 - Phil Carnes signs an endorsement agreement with
Seymour Duncan Pickups.
December 1998 - The music video has been completed and a compiled
sample of the music video for "I'll Fly" with an audio
mix "straight from the board" is placed online.
March 1999 - The band records Iron Maiden's "22 Acacia
Avenue" for the Adrenaline / Energie Records Iron Maiden
Tribute CD and it is a rocker ! Delusion drummer Doug Readmond
was unavailable for the recording and Rick Johnson from the band
Desolate makes an appearance courtesy of Megaton Records to complete
the song.
April 1999 - The bands song " Feel This Way " appears
on the PowerQuest : The Awakening CD Compilation released on
Kamelot Music International.
May 1999 - The
Iron Maiden Tribute called Children Of The Damned is to be released
next month with massive distribution. This two disc tribute will
contain Delusion's version of "22 Acacia Avenue" as
well as their own , "Feel This Way".
June 1999 - Delusion's
song "Beyond The Door" , from their demo tapes , oddly
has broke onto the MPULSE charts. It entered at 481 and has made
its way already to 284. Keep them coming !
September 1999 - The Iron Maiden Tribute , Children of the Damned
, is released in Europe after a two-month delay in the originally
planned schedule.
December 1999 - Delusion now has four songs throughout the MPulse
Music Charts Top 100.
January 2000 - Delusion's song "Beyond The Door"
, makes it to the highest position on the Mpulse Music charts
, cresting to number one. |
